Hotel AcaciaBrugges PicHome

I have added some travel information here for you because going to Belgium for treatment can be daunting. Don't let the thought of travelling to Belgium put you off though because there are many inexpensive flights, ferries, and the Eurostar which all take you there. If you are worried about making all these booking arrangements then International Health Care will organise all this for you without charging you a fortune for the service. They have a fantastic package which takes all these worry factors out of the equasion, even to the point where they will send a representative with you  for the week ! I have been to Brugge a couple of times now and I have to warn you, many fall in love with the place on their first visit. It truly is a spectacularly beautiful city, with architecture that makes it uniquely quirky ! The sky line from the hospital across to the city of Brugge is breath taking and I am besotted with the place. I hope the photo's that I have added here do some justice to the beauty of the city, and inspire you to go and explore when you get there !
The Hotel Acacia is my recommended hotel and I endorse this having stayed there on each trip to Brugge. It is situated right in the centre of the old city, and gives superb walking access to the local shops and restaurants. It is a mere wander away from the market square where you can sit and people watch, or enjoy a meal at one of the Bistro's on the side of the square. You can listen to the music playing out the quarter hourly time from the Belfore, and this can be heard right across the city. The noises of the horses hooves on the cobbles as the tourists are taken on a ride about the town, the sparkle of the waterways reflecting the buildings that surround them, the smells of the superb Belgian waffles, or the beauty of the city as it prepares for it's next festival or seasonal occasion, the place is thriving with life and wonder and the Hotel Acacia is located so you are close enough to enjoy it all without having to get a taxi to the town. The staff there are warm and welcoming, and for bariatric patients offer extra pillows, downstairs rooms, a variety of foods at breakfast time, and a new service where they provide soup for bariatric patients on request. The staff all speak excellent English. You will not be disappointed with this hotel choice.
